The seminar is organised to:
1. discuss the contemporary issues from the perspective of the al-Quran as a proof of its paramount functions and its relevance as an authoritative and authentic reference for all aspects of human life, in line with the niche of the Faculty of Islamic Contemporary Studies.
2. highlight the uniqueness of al-Quran as a pillar of transformation in contemporary society.
3. reminisce the glory of al-Quran studies at all levels including those in Terengganu.
4. form a networking of local academia.
